I agree... unless things go completely pear shaped ( and despite last night I reckon we will have a very boring and safe mid table season) we will be stuck with BFS until his contract expires in May.
Bilic for next season would be great and I hope the Daves start sorting that asap.

They didn't sack Allardyce at the end of the season, have stuck with him through the transfer window and have asked him to try and deliver better looking football which he has, so far.
As lovely an idea as it is to think of Bilic managing us (and I have a feeling he one day will) Allardyce is going nowhere at the moment and people need to reconcile themselves to that.

That's the thing Paget, it's not necessarily his record as a club boss, it's the identity he'd give the club, we'd have a new lease of life, and he'd have us on the front football, and would fit what we want.
